Technical Prep
When preparing for an airline interview candidates must be
sure to also include the technical evaluation in their study time. Even though a
pilot may be generally proficient an interview will examine the detail to which
they have prepared. During the technical portion of your interview the
interviewing pilots conducting the evaluation will ask several questions
covering a wide range of topics. It is important to know these topics well
enough so as not to stumble through your answers. Replying with correct and
simple answers to questions in a timely manner shows you are familiar with the
topic, and have prepared well for your interview.
The following subject areas have been broken down into subtopics that include
the most commonly questioned areas. This guide has been created to help you in
your preparation. Be sure to review all subject areas and fully understand the
concepts before interviewing.
